Rapid Design, Lasting Impact: Crafting M4BL's Microsite for Justice

UX/UI Design

Client: Movement for Black Lives (M4BL)

Agency: Do Big Things

Team Role: Lead Designer

Collaborating with M4BL, renowned for their commitment to electoral justice for Black lives and the planet, I had the privilege of contributing as an ally in a diverse team. In this fast-paced project, I embraced the challenge of designing a one-page website that reflects the mission of their C4 Action Fund.

Wireframing

With the content in hand, I developed two interactive wireframe concepts in Webflow in just 24 hours. The first wireframe offered a narrative-driven journey through distinct sections, ideal for visitors interested in the organization's comprehensive work. The second option, featuring a compact, accordion-style layout, catered to users focusing on specific areas of interest. Ultimately, the client selected the first option for its simplicity and mobile-friendly design.

Design

Leveraging M4BL's brand guidelines, I crafted an interactive prototype on Webflow within 48 hours, incorporating striking black and white imagery for a bold visual impact. The design was brought to life with dynamic interactions to embody the client's mission in a visually captivating way.

Launch

In just four weeks, from the initial concept to the final launch, we developed a dynamic and responsive website. As the lead designer, I collaborated closely with the developer to swiftly integrate the client's final feedback and ensure a successful launch.
