CHCI's Website Redesign for Empowering Latino Leadership

UX/UI Design

Client: Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI)

Agency: Do Big Things

Team Role: Lead Designer

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute is a Hispanic nonprofit and nonpartisan 501 leadership development organization committed to developing the next generation of Latino leaders. After joining the CHCI project post-discovery, my role involved transforming the foundational ideas into a functional and inspiring website.

UX / Wireframing

In developing 16 wireframes, I focused on creating a user-friendly design that ensured easy navigation to CHCI's key areas: events, programs, development, and communications. This approach enhanced the user experience by simplifying access to information and resources.

Design

Faced with the task of modernizing the CHCI website while maintaining their existing branding, my approach involved integrating dynamic interactions with a modern layout. The goal was to inject a contemporary feel into the site.
